Microsoft
As a Microsoft academy we have access to the full range of the Microsoft Professional course portfolio e.g. MCSE, MCSA, MCDST or individual MCP. For full details of course availability costs and pre-requisites please contact the centre.
Cisco
The Minerva Centre (through our parent organisation; Dixons City Academy) is a Regional Cisco centre. This means that we can offer the full Cisco course portfolio directly to individuals and organisations as well as support secondary schools as Local Cisco academies
The Cisco Networking Academy Program was started in 1997 to help students gain the real world skills so in demand in the Internet economy. All Cisco course curricula combine theory and practice of designing, developing and implementing IT Technologies. It also teaches the teamwork skills that are essential for success in today's diverse IT market.
The Cisco Networking Academy Program teaches students valuable Internet technology skills, now including networking, UNIX, IT Essentials, Cabling and Java. The Academy Curriculum covers a broad range of topics, from basic networking skills such as pulling cable to more complex concepts such as applying advanced troubleshooting tools.
