Numeracy & Literacy
As a large Learndirect Centre, The Minerva Centre offers both Numeracy & Literacy development courses through Learndirect. Learners are initially assessed using specific diagnostic programs to identify strengths and weaknesses. Results are used to agree development plans that are individually tailored to the needs of the learner.
Courses are structured with enhanced learning objectives. Learners are encouraged to undertake the nationally recognised Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy. At level 2 this is recognised as the equivalent to a pass grade GCSE.
